Meet Jonathan Cyphers
Jonathan Cyphers is a New Hampshire born singer-songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Jonathan blends contemporary indie-folk and alternative influences with a message of hope to create a unique and impactful sound that is completely his own. His personal lyrics and intimate vocals draw the listener into deep conversations about the tension of faith and the experiences of life. Growing up in New England gave Jonathan a unique perspective on living out his faith in Christ, which you hear throughout his music - no subject is off limits, but the song isn't finished until true and authentic hope is found.
Jonathan's first EP, "The Comeback Kid," was released independently during the summer of 2023, featuring songs that cover topics like loneliness, depression, fear, and how to find hope in those darkest moments. In November 2023, Jonathan released the single, "More," featuring co-writer Alex Mabey. In February 2024, Jonathan released his newest single, “Slow Down.”
“My desire is for the listener to feel seen and heard, a little challenged, but also encouraged. Life has a way of knocking us down, but hope is the thing that keeps us getting up. Even in the midst of the darkest, hardest moments, we can find hope to keep going. I want my songs to help people find that hope."
